Help for Women

Several Women migrate to the United States after getting married, leaving behind their family and friends, with a dream and hope to share a beautiful life with their life partner! While for many, this dream comes true, for some it turns out to be a nightmare when their marriage turns out to be torturous and abusive. In a new country, with little kids, where they do not know anyone or anything, it soon becomes very emotionally/physically draining to have to face legal/immigration/financial challenges!

Sahrudaya Foundation has been helping such Women and Mothers in Crisis across the United States, with Information, Contacts and Support in various forms. The help is long-term, typically spans years in cases where it is needed! Sahrudaya Foundation also partners with local South Asian Domestic Violence Centers, other Non-profits and Immigration Lawyers in this massive effort to help these Women and kids!
